Marina and Surya take part in the Great Exhibition Road Festival
Our group members Marina and Surya volunteered at the Great Exhibition Road festival. They took part in the demonstration of DNA extraction from strawberries, as part of our engagement and outreach program with primary school children.
This was an exciting opportunity to spend a day explaining basic genetics to the general audiences. The enthusiasm of the children and their parents was quite contagious!
